Ministry of Industrial Development & Entrepreneurship Sabah (MIDE)

Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA)

Currently, MIDA leads the Malaysian Government’s efforts, introducing innovative

Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP)
KKIP, situated north of Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah, stands as a cornerstone of
the state’s economic advancement plans. Developed by the state government, it serves
as a hub for industrial growth, aiming to attract investment and maximize the utilization
of Sabah’s natural resources. With its strategic positioning and infrastructure, KKIP
seeks to drive economic development, generate jobs, and enhance Sabah’s overall
prosperity.
POIC
POIC, set up by the Sabah State Government in 2005, aims to develop
downstream processing of palm oil to add value to its vast plantations and create jobs.
It also seeks investments in port & logistics, biomass, biorefineries, oil & gas, and
related SMEs.
Sabah Oil & Gas Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (SOGDC)
The Sabah Oil & Gas Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (SOGDC) is a state-owned company in Sabah, Malaysia, focused on the development and management of the oil and gas sector in the region.
